Accounting Clerk

What You Get to Do

• Credit card management for budgets, spending limits, and departmental needs.
• Generate weekly reports for Managers to ensure proper coding of transactions.
• Create and Terminate accounts, cards, and access for new hires and terminated employees.
• Import and update account data in accounting software.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all records.
• Record and reconcile payments accurately.
• Assist AR in cash collection efforts as assigned.
• Collaborate with others to resolve discrepancies and data-related issues.
• Perform data validation and verification to maintain data accuracy.
• Generate reports to maintain organization and tracking of accounts.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.

What You Bring to Ambia

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in credit card management for business accounts or similar roles.
• Proficiency in data entry software and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel).
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data validation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is preferred.

Pay Range: $16 – $18 an hour
